Chloe (7) was out on the Swamp Rabbit today for her first ride, ever. She racked up about 3.5 miles in about 40 minutes.
She might have gone longer but she had a mechanical when her left pedal fell off.
Like parts of the Paris Rubaiux, the TEAM car had trouble reaching her but finally got up and made repairs.
She had a great day and wants to 'hit it' again tomorrow. Not surprising with her genetic make up. It will be a brick as Teenie has her in swim lessons at 4PM.
Chloe has already set her first cycling goal.....lose the training wheels. I moved 'em up after the ride so she can better balance the bike. Her balance beam background should prove helpful.
See ya out there!

This is awesome!!! She is super cute!! I believe by the end of the week you will be chasing her up Paris Mtn. :) Have fun....while you can still keep up with her, lol.
tip: remove the pedals AND the training wheels, and lower the seat so she can push off with her feet. She needs to learn how to coast first by rolling and lifting both feet for a few seconds. Make it a game - coast for 3 seconds, then 5 seconds, then 10 seconds. When she can coast for that long she's ready to ride without the training wheels.
maybe she can fit on one of those little TT bikes stored in your closet!
