Spring Series Ramblings

I just want everyone to know that I had a great time racing with my new teammates during the spring series. My only goal for the series was to finish top ten in every race (mission accomplished!). I never expected to finish top three in the omnium, so that was an added bonus. Giselle rocked! Not only is she fast, she is also a motivator (and apparently has a wicked sprint).
Sam and Weinacker, it was fun trying to work together as a team. We have such an awesome group of strong women.

It was also cool to see the progress of our cat 4 ladies. All of them are strong, but most had little or no race experience. Brady rode like a seasoned racer, good job girl. KP started out a little shaky, but is a totally different rider now. Her excitement about racing seemed to grow every weekend. Lara wasn't afraid to ride at the front in her first race at Fork Shoals. Stratton is so hardcore that she came out for the last race the day after running a marathon. We missed Christina, but she will be racing with us soon. Can't wait to race with Beth in the 12 hours of Tsali. I'm very excited about the race season, and am glad to be a member of Team Headstrong
