Team headstrong will enter 2014 under 2 new teams, Greenville Velo (out of Greenville, SC) and Maddog83 (out of Tucson, Az).. It has been a great 4 years of racing, companionship, and community. We have accomplished some great things, but like all things, time moves on and so will we. See below for more details......

"What planet are you from......."

That is what a cyclist asked Beth at the top of the Galibier (mile 71 and after climbing 38.5 km)..... on her way to a 4th place overall for 50+ Females....... AWESOME!

La Marmotte........ 108 miles, 16,500ft of climbing...7,000 riders..........a BEAST!

I finished in 9:06 after dying on the Alpe d'Huez after a great ride for top honors of Team Headstrong (it took me 2hrs to climb the Alpe........ suicidal). Beth was 9 minutes in arrears but took 4th overall in her class........ Jim was 73rd overall 60-66.  And our friend Ken was 87th in the 60-66 age group...... Basically we were 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th from the USA.    Very, very tough ride..... epic....

Our ride today was a majestic ride up to La Bernardie below Les Deux Alpes.......
