I guess Camp exceeded my expectations in about every way.
Having Joe and Joyce Friel there was real thrill for me. Besides being my coach and one of the world's authorities on what we do, he rides seriously strong. And Joyce, what a team player?? Rider, SAG, cook, and photographer!!
We had 19 our 20 team members participate.
The lodging was wonderful.
The rides were very challenging.
Lauren nailed the food/nutrition.
Teenie helped us get a little more headstrong.
Even at the summits, we still had smiles.
We built personal relationships.
We set goals.
We organized Mt Mitchell and Tsali.
How do we best this act? Tucson in Jan?? I know some of you are thinking:
I can't get off, it will cost a lot, Tucson is too far. Well maybe? But just maybe, If we dream it, we can make it happen.

Thank you to Randall and Christina for bringing Joe to camp. He is a calm cycling encyclopedia. I loved his talks.
