Week 4 was humbling for many of us. In Week 1&2, we spanked the B field. Lead by Bird and Giselle, we owned the race with G winning the sprints both weeks. In Week 3, G matriculated to the A's and Bird was out. We still had our way with the field.
This week , Bird went to A's and finished the 5 laps and G was out. Well, it wasn't our finest hour. I started to write a recap but why relive what was at best, mediocrity? Yes, the wind was blowing and it was hot, but everyone had to deal with this.
Let's look at the positives. Emily rode 3 strong laps in the front part of the field and practiced some bumping drills. Joe and Randy finished in the field.
Was not a long list of positives, huh??
Ok, Rock Hill is next !!!

Even though there isn't a long list of positive things to say about the ride, I really missed being out there with you guys! Can you believe there were 4 weeks in a row with weather good enough to ride??? That's almost unheard of in the spring!
Another positive......
I HAD FUN!!! Even though I was dropped, I had a great time riding in reverse with Christina and getting back into the group for Lap 3. It was cool being swarmed by the masses. I also got a great workout in. I have awesome teammates and that is always a positive! I'm positively proud of everybody!
What was that you said about George H? How many races and how many wins.....
KW has the right attitude.... lessons learned and a great workout.....
I was "toast" and could only spin up the last climb not even contemplating the sprint.
Great showing by the team...
I agree with Bird and Weinacker, we all worked super hard out there, we all got a great workout, and many of us were able to work together as a team--I definitely think there were positives in all that!
